COD Black Ops Cold War - Multiplayer Beta Early Access Live Gameplay [PC] #2
I haven't bought a call of duty game since the old modern warfare 2 came out on console. I have been a battlefield player ever since, but after some disappointing battlefield games, my interest in cod has been reawakened. Seeing how well people liked the reboot of the modern warfare franchise I think the black ops series has the same potential. After all, BO 1 & 2 were some of my favorites.
console aim for snipers seems really strong. to the point where people are using snipers in close quarters on purpose because you can just ADS and then 1 shot bodyshot or headshot. as long as you are within 15 degrees of the target you basically get a guaranteed kill. otherwise, the gameplay felt smooth and quick. SMGs also felt a little unbalanced between pc and console. they worked well in CQB on mouse and keyboard but the auto aim for consoles made them midrange weapons essentially. ADS, snap on target, headshot headshot headshot, dead; should not be the sequence of events for an unruly, fast rate of fire, close range weapon. Overall, I would say I had a good time during this play session, but there definitely needs to be some balancing. Which is to be expected for a beta. So I'd say the game is shaping up to be a good one.
