Please welcome Priska Kohnen, a PSCORE intern from Germany, who is representing one of the seven countries that have gathered together in order to amplify young voices in talking about the issue of peaceful Korean reunification from a globalized perspective. Perhaps there is no other country that understands the complexities and nuances of a divided country better than Germany, who has reunified into one country again after its own split about 30 years ago. With that in mind, approaching the Korean reunification issue from a German perspective is a uniquely relevant way to further learn about and understand how to achieve peaceful reunification in the Korean Peninsula.

PSCORE’s 2020 Webinar is an opportunity for young voices from all over the world to contribute their thoughts and ideas to the discourse on peaceful Korean reunification. Young adults from seven different countries (North Korea, South Korea, the United States, Japan, Russia, China, and Germany) have gathered to offer diverse perspectives, express their opinions, and learn from one another. This webinar proves how the issue of peaceful Korean reunification is becoming more globalized and warrants international attention and cooperation.
