Viacom18 Studios
Viacom18 Motion Pictures is a film production division of a joint venture between Viacom (now Paramount Global) and Network 18 based in Mumbai. It is originally formed as Studio18 in 2006, and it was renamed five years later. It was later renamed as Viacom18 Studios in 2018.
Viacom (2006-2019)
The second incarnation of Viacom was established on December 31, 2005, after the original incarnation was split into two companies: one which retained the original Viacom name, and another one which was the original Viacom and was reincorporated into CBS Corporation. On December 4, 2019, Viacom and CBS remerged into ViacomCBS
ViacomCBS (2019-2022) / Paramount Global (2022-)
On December 4, 2019, Viacom and CBS Corporation remerged into ViacomCBS. On February 16, 2022, ViacomCBS was officially renamed to Paramount Global, more commonly known simply as Paramount, using the Paramount trademark since 1912.
ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group / Paramount Global Content Distribution
Paramount Global Content Distribution is the international distribution unit of CBS Media Ventures. It was formed in 2004 by Viacom as CBS Paramount International Television, a result of a merger between two television companies, CBS Broadcast International and Paramount International Television. Since September 26, 2006, the company has been part of the CBS Television Distribution (now CBS Media Ventures) Group. In May 2009, CBS Paramount International Television was renamed CBS Studios International. In 2020, the subsidiary was renamed to ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group. On February 15, 2022, ViacomCBS announced that it was changing its name to Paramount Global.
