⚠️ URGENT WARNING FOR CITRIX ADMINS: Are you planning to upgrade to Citrix Profile Management 2507? Watch this first before your profile share runs out of space!

In this TESTLAB alert, we dive into a critical default setting change in the newest release of Citrix Profile Management (CPM 2507) that could take down your storage infrastructure.

Citrix has enabled "Accelerate folder mirroring" by default. While this feature is designed to speed up logon times, there is a massive catch: it creates a VHDX file that is approximately 200MB in size for EVERY SINGLE USER.

If you have hundreds or thousands of users logging in, this default setting will rapidly consume massive amounts of storage on your profile share, potentially leading to exhausted disk space, corrupted profiles, and a complete halt to user logins.

In this video, I will show you:
1. What "Accelerate folder mirroring" actually does behind the scenes.
2. The proof: Watching the 200MB VHDX files generate in real-time.
3. The Fix: How to properly configure or disable this policy via Active Directory GPO to protect your file servers.

Don't let a default setting bring down your VDI environment!
