DELETED SCENE REMASTERED (Max Rebo Band) From Return Of The Jedi!
In the Special Editions, the Rebo Band were big victims of George Lucas' CGI intervention. They were seemingly changed forever until I found the original which was played for years until Lucas saw Jurassic Park and got excited about what he could do in the 90's with the re-release!
I have cleaned up the best I can the deleted scene that takes place shortly after we see the first introduction from C3PO and R2D2 into Jabbas Palace in the Return of the Jedi. It stages the opening set-piece at Jabba the Hutt’s inner thrown room and shows the array of aliens and dark characters lurking.
Sy Snootles and the band is so much better as there is no CG, just puppets and great design at play, more importantly, the song is so much better and less chessy than the trilogy version, I wish they kept this in, all it needed was a cleanup and it would have been perfect!
