How would you feel if I told you that the gigantic ship used as a meeting room in Monster Hunter World was originally the vessel of the first fleet? Or that Nergigante, one of the most feared and iconic monsters in video games, owes its name to the Babylonian god of the dead, Nergal? These are just some of the incredible details awaiting you in this new collection of trivia you might not have known about Monster Hunter World. An installment that symbolizes much more than the opening of the fifth generation of Capcom's most monstrous (and successful) franchise.
There's no shortage of details about its Iceborne expansion, in which I tell you about several of its discarded designs, how the dreaded Elder Dragon Alatreon was received, and some Easter eggs that demonstrate the great care the studio put into delivering an extraordinary and realistic experience (one so grand that we even see the Felyne chefs cooking in real time). Will all these details be included in the new Wilds installment? For now, we know that the game's offering will be much bigger than what we saw in this 2018 installment and that we'll have new faces who promise to have a huge personality. An idiosyncrasy that means only one thing: making their armor and crafting weapons with their materials.
Without further delay, gather your favorite weapons (preferably the katana or hammer), summon your trusty Felyne, and get ready to discover the 100 hidden details of Monster Hunter World!
