Gear Testing Day--Trying Out My New Pack & Boots
In this video we hit some local trails to test out my new Hyperlite Mountain Gear Unbound 55 backpack and Oboz Bridger Mid hiking boots. I purchased the Unbound 55 with some upcoming trips in mind. I am working on a video that goes more into the features of the pack so look for that one in the future.
I also decided to purchase the Oboz Bridger Mids after a rather disappointing experience with my Salomon Speedcross 6s (you can find that video here: • Salomon Speedcross 6–My Thoughts After 200... ) and a few scary ankle rolls on my last hike. I have the Oboz Sawtooth Lows and love them, so I thought I might find similar comfortability in the mids. Basically I'm trying to train myself to get used to a boot that's a little higher as traditionally I am not a fan. I'll keep you guys posted on how that goes.
