Sengoku Basara 3: Utage (Eng Sub) - Kojuro Katakura Story Mode | Ch. 3
Kojuro's 3rd and final stage in SB3:U, translated in English.
Kojuro's dialogue is extra flowery for this stage, but that's mostly towards the end while fighting Ieyasu. It wasn't half as bad as Nobunaga vs Matsunaga, translation-wise, but I did change around some of the lines to sound more natural.
The kanji on Kojuro's sword is more accurately read as "Bonten Grows into a One-Eyed Dragon that Soars the Heavens". In his youth, Masamune was known as "Bontenmaru". Without that context, the whole "Bonten" thing just kind of comes out of nowhere, so I omitted it.
I read online that the Drillitron's appearance in this stage is somewhat luck based, but you have a better chance of it appearing by taking over all the bases and barracks before heading to the southeast, where it spawns. Fortunately it appeared so we got to see the dialogue for it. I do like Ieyasu mentioning it was a gift from Yoshiaki and, as if on cue, it starts to go haywire.
I actually bought a book online containing the script for the cutscenes, to help me know what they say incase I can't pick it up with my ears alone. But said book doesn't contain the lines for the spirits of the dead Date troops during the last cutscene, and those are the hardest ones to hear. I did my best for them but some of them I just couldn't make out with them talking over one another and the other sound effects. If nothing else, I got the point across of what they were saying. Although context should have made it pretty obvious anyways.
Also I changed the formatting of the thumbnail a bit so the text is less obtrusive. Next character I'll be doing is Muneshige, mostly just because I wanted to play as Muneshige.
