Outing at Molai Forest Ep-1: Offroading at Kokilamukh before trekking (HD)
Went for a Sunday morning outing on 23-11-2020 at Molai Forest which was planted single-handedly by Sri Jadav Payeng - "The Forest Man of India". Visited Sri Payeng's house at Kokilamukh near Jorhat, Assam. Found the regular ferry service from Kokilamukh to Kartik Chapori is unavailable due to lack of water in the Brahmaputra distributary channel. Locals informed that the ghat for small country boats has shifted far away. My attempt to approach that ghat led to offroading across the silty bank of Brahmaputra.
