Resident Evil Village is the eighth main installment in the successful, yet uneven, horror franchise "Resident Evil," continuing the story of Ethan and Mia Winters from Resident Evil VII Biohazard. On October 28, 2022, not only was the Gold Edition of the game released, but also the Winters Expansion, which adds new characters for the "Mercenaries" mode (including Lady Dimitrescu) and, most importantly, the story expansion "Shadows of Rose." In this DLC, Ethan's daughter Rose, now a teenager, ventures into the fungal network and memory of the Megamyzet to rid herself of her unwanted powers with the help of a mystical crystal.
