In order to fix our milk production problem, we have introduced distiller's grain or spent grain into our feeding routine. I'm sure you are wondering, won't it get my cow drunk since this grain has been through the brewing or distillation process? Using distillers grain has helped our cows with their milk production, but it did not get them drunk.
