Biggest problem these days with our classic cars is having a USB port available for our modern smart phones and other accessories. My Volkswagen, (especially since it did not come with a cigarette lighter, which now would be used as a power port today). Follow me along as I build a complete power supply box that I installed in my 1960 VW Cal bug and was able to do it for under $25. Follow step-by-step as I go through the process and see it installed and working in my car… it’s compact you can install it most anywhere you want hide it put it in your glove compartment, you name it. I chose to put it where I did because it was convenient to get to being that my bug is not a vintage classic and rather a full custom, I felt that it was an addition versus a distraction.
