So much important work goes on behind the scenes of production, and it’s all carried out by producers, DPs, gaffers, production assistants, and everyone else on set.
For production to go smoothly (organized chaos, as we like to call it), everyone on the team has to be in sync.
That means that the DP knows how to bring the director’s vision into reality, the producer knows how to oversee and manage everything, and the gaffers and camera operators know how to navigate the set alongside each other.
At the end of the day, it really is a collective effort.
Though we’re a bit biased, we think our production team is pretty great. So that’s why we’re putting our crew front-and-center in this Tips & Tricks video to talk about the many different roles on a film set.
