Why China Missed the Industrial Revolution
Why did the Industrial Revolution happen 200 years later in China than in Britain? Considering China’s massive growth lately, it begs the question of why it did not occur earlier in China’s history. This video focuses on the economic argument for why the Industrial Revolution happened. But there are several other arguments for why it happened, such as religion, culture, politics, or, constitutions — but most likely a mix of them all :)
