Day in the Life of a Software Engineer Co-op at Faire
Just finished my 16-week internship as a Frontend Engineer at Faire, an online wholesale marketplace empowering small business owners and independent brands to buy and sell wholesale online.
It was an amazing experience where I learned a lot and worked with fantastic people! My favourite part of the internship was getting to take ownership over several customer-facing features. It was extremely rewarding to see the impact of the features on key business metrics!
Most of my time was spent building new features with React + TypeScript + MobX, but sometimes I was fixing bugs, refactoring code, or investigating abnormal user trends.
I was on the Retailer Growth team which aims to acquire new retailers and encourage them to place their first order.
