LUCKY stands for a new ransomware. It is from the Makop family. It encrypts files and appends the .LUCKY extension to the filenames. Hence, it's not possible to use the files. Then the ransomware tells the victims to pay a special ransom for file restoration. Yet, paying the ransom is not a good idea. Don't waste the funds.
