How to Configure an NFS Client on Linux - Mount Network Shares - Episode 91

In this tutorial, we show you how to configure an NFS (Network File System) client on Linux so you can mount remote directories shared by an NFS server.
You'll learn:
• How to install NFS client utilities using nfs-utils
• How to create a local mount point for NFS shares
• How to mount a remote NFS share using the mount command
• How to make NFS mounts persistent by editing /etc/fstab
• How to verify your mounted NFS share and access files
By the end of this video, your Linux client will be ready to connect to NFS shares from any server and automatically mount them on boot for seamless access.
💡 Tip: For persistent mounts, make sure your /etc/fstab entry includes the remote file system, mount point, NFS type, mount options, dump, and pass values.
