How to manage Upwork transactions for German freelancer taxes

If you are freelancing in Germany, you may have noticed that Upwork transactions are not really compliant with German bookkeeping guidelines. This video shows how I prepare my German VAT invoices using data from Upwork transactions - and make them 'legal' for tax and accounting in Germany.
