Is a Cheap $282 Underwater Metal Detector Worth it?
The Vibratector 740 is an excellent CHEAP metal detector capable of detecting small metal objects underwater. This handheld detector is perfect for divers who want to start metal detecting on a budget. Setup is super easy and only requires one 9v battery. I would recommend this detector; it is affordable, easy to use, and reliable underwater.
I found this model both at my local dive shop and available online through amazon.
The main reason for purchasing an underwater metal detector is so I can look for smaller metal objects under mud/silt/sand. There are many expensive detectors that are well over $1000 but I was not willing to spend that much. All I wanted was an underwater metal detector that was cheap and easy to use.
