Erik Leisten Rollerski 2023
Even though the 2023 Winter gave the 2nd highest snowfall on record, ironically I skiid relatively little. There was so much snow that the XC resorts couldn't groom fast enough to keep up with the snowfall. Furthermore the roads were often closed or jammed. All that to say, I didn't make the improvements I was hoping for this year.
When healthy, I always have Roller skiing, but it is getting riskier as I age (roller skis, not to mention the poles are the most unwieldy contraptions) . And now that I am 'getting up there', I am increasingly afraid of a fall and find myself roller skiing less often.
