Kerala: The Spice Coast of India - Raghubir Singh
Raghubir Singh, in Kerala, provides an interesting insight into the culture and landscape of Kerala and the Malabar Coast. Singh's work goes beyond the typical travelogue and shows us, in depth, the daily life of these diverse people. Singh (1942-1999) was best known for his documentary-style, small-format street photography of the people of India. He chose to work in color--color being intrinsic to Indian aesthetics.
