"After being uprooted from Gabon, I spent the next 10 years searching to fill a void that was missing, I tried everything and nothing seem to alleviate my depression. Until I decided to change that, one of the 'changes' came when I traveled to upstate NY, as the city landscapes were fading behind, I entered a new world, the natural world, and remembered my first family, the trees.
I began to explore all the nature that New York had to offer, until one day, I stumbled up Sundown Wild Forest. Although the trees and mountains were not the same species from the tropical rainforest of my birth country, I felt them watch over me and care for me the same; I was whole again."
