Meet My Mac Pro 5,1: Let’s Make It Faster!

In this misadventure, I share a few changes I have made to my production setup and introduce my new-to-me MacPro 5,1. After a walkthrough of everything I had done to the machine up to the time of filming, I installed two new-to-me X5690 processors. To validate the upgrade, I ran Cinebench and Geekbench benchmarks and compared the scores to those recorded with the old processors.
