Tight Fit - Back to The Sixties (Part 1)
A bizarre and unique set of not particularly pleasant circumstances surrounded this group. This was their first single put together by Ken Gold using several session singers. When the 'group' appeared on Top of the Pops to perform this, actors were used to front the band instead of the session singers. The Lion Sleeps Tonight vocal was performed by Roy Ward, but they used Steve Grant to front the video and TV performances, with the girls Denise Gyngell and Julie Harris. These 3 could actually sing, so they released Fantasy Island and Secret Heart as that Trio. Due to the pittance they were being paid as session singers, Julie and Denise left the band and were replaced with Vicky Pemberton and Carol Stevens. They then released I'm Undecided! 5 singles released so far, 4 different line ups, you thought the Sugababes were fickle! As we know I'm Undecided was not a hit and neither was their last single, a cover of Love the One You're With.....anyway the vids blocked, so reversed to avoid copyright.
