I made this as an exercise in filmmaking. This is how I learn new skills. I decide to create something and then I tackle the obstacles that come up as I execute.
This entire project was completed in 24 hours, from script to final edit. It was shot on an OLD iPhone and edited on DaVinci Resolve.
The story is based on on an old joke that's been going around for years, I wanted to see how well I could dramatize it. The goal was to tell the story in under 30 seconds. I also wanted experience in all the different parts of filmmaking. (I made a lot of good mistakes that I'll learn from for next time.) It was fun and I love the result!
No penguins were harmed making this video.
