Microsoft Is Rewriting Windows
Microsoft is rewriting Windows.
Now this goes on all the time to a certain extent with Microsoft adding features & releasing updates.
But now a lot of the core Windows libraries are also getting rewritten to the Rust programming language.
Why is this happening? Well because it’s time some of these things have been around since the 90s.
Also switching to Rust will bring benefits such as better performance, safety & memory management.
And honestly this is the exact direction I think Microsoft should be going with Windows.
Stop with the updates & new features, just make Windows more stable, reliable and follow this channel.
