At the beginning of this year, I was a burnt out 30 year old millennial with no friends. I was lonely and felt lost in life. I had no purpose and was pretty depressed. In an effort to feel less alone, I went back to school for filmmaking. Writing and directing movies gave me purpose again and transformed my life by giving me a fresh start. I met so many other writers, actors, and filmmakers that helped me grow. For anyone that’s scared to make that change in your life, it’s tough but so worth it.
