Learn to Hack: UnrealIRC Backdoor Exploit on Metasploitable2
In this short we discovered that the Metasploitable2 server that we scanned using Tenable Nessus, was running a vulnerable version of UnrealIRC that contained a backdoor on port 6697. Being the script kiddie that I am I exploited this vulnerability to gain a remote shell using Metasploit.
