Elite: Dangerous - Handing In Exploration Data
This is just a video to demonstrate how it feels to hand in a substantial amount of exploration data.
If you really want, this is your best opportunity to experience the mind numbing boredom that can await you as a long distance explorer when you get back to inhabited space!
The biggest issue is that despite all the time taken to do this, basic information such as the type of body is not listed, and there is no way to retrieve this information once the data is handed in. It's just slow, boring, and ultimately useless as there is insufficient information to be able to put together what was valuable or not, without looking up the high-value systems on the galaxy map afterwards (this is why I paused over each system worth over 100K cr - so I can research them afterwards).
