FAST X, the tenth film in the FAST & FURIOUS franchise, marks the first part of the final chapter of one of the world's most popular film series, still as effective as ever, having maintained the same spirit and characters that have made it a success for almost 30 years.
After many missions and against all odds, Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his family have managed to outwit, anticipate, surpass, and outmaneuver every adversary who has crossed their path. Now they face their most terrifying and intimate enemy: emerging from the mists of the past, this vengeful ghost is determined to decimate the family by destroying everything, and especially everyone, that Dom has ever cared about.
In 2011's FAST 5, Dom and his team brought down the infamous Brazilian drug kingpin, Hernan Reyes, by plunging his empire off a bridge in Rio de Janeiro. Little did they know that his son, Dante (Jason Momoa, AQUAMAN), had watched helplessly and had spent the last twelve years plotting a diabolical scheme that would exact the ultimate price from Dom.
Dante will hunt down Dom and his family across the globe, from Los Angeles to the catacombs of Rome, from Brazil to London, and from Antarctica to Portugal. New alliances will be forged, and old enemies will resurface. But everything will change when Dom realizes that Dante's primary target is none other than his son, barely 8 years old (Leo Abelo Perry, Black-ish).
FAST X is directed by Louis Leterrier (CLASH OF THE TITANS, THE INCREDIBLE HULK), and reunites the original cast of the franchise with Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Jason Statham, John Cena, and Scott Eastwood, alongside the two sublime Academy Award® winners Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron.
Adding to this is an incredible cast of equally prestigious newcomers, including Academy Award® winner Brie Larson as Tess, an independent representative of the Agency; Alan Ritchson (REACHER) as Aimes, its new director who, unlike his predecessor, Mr. Nobody, doesn't hold Dom in high regard; Daniela Melchior (THE SUICIDE SQUAD) as the queen of Brazilian street racing who shares a very strong past with Dom; while the legendary Academy Award® winner Rita Moreno plays Dom and Mia's grandmother, Abuelita.
