2023 Myanmar New Year Celebration in SWFL
It was an honor for my family to host our 1st Myanmar New Year Celebration (Thingyan Water Festival) at our property in Lehigh Acres, FL. Some people donated money for the expenses and some brought Burmese food and drinks for the events. We also had a professional Burmese dancer who performed at our event. We also got to do a traditional event of respecting our elders and gave them gifts at the end. Overall, we had more than 50 people show up for our very first event and we appreciate those who made the time to join this special occasion.
