GoPro Hero 7 vs 9 simple comparison
YouTube doesn't support 100fps playback. In reality basically no difference in image quality between these two cameras. There are quite a few software differences though (flicker compensation from LED ligth sources, resolution/fps combinations etc). Both cameras are still laggy as all of GoPros.
Not worth upgrading unless you get Hero 9 real cheap.
