Coherent nature: If two waves from a single source and having same frequency or approximately same frequency are said coherent waves.
Superposition principle: Two or more waves propagating in the same medium and get superimposed to form a resultant wave. The resultant wave having a displacement at a point equals to the sum of displacement of all waves at the same point.
