In the final days of the Yushin regime, the global threat of terrorism became increasingly acute, leading countries to rush to establish counter-terrorism units. South Korea, under the special direction of President Park Chung-hee, established Unit 606. Selected from only the finest special forces, Unit 606, through rigorous training, blazed a path toward becoming the world's best counter-terrorism unit. However, its heyday was short-lived. With the president's sudden death on October 26, 1979, their fates were turned upside down.
