videocc - video map knobs Max for Live
videocc is a collection of devices that takes your video input and allows you to map and control parameters in Ableton Live.
It's composed of 3 devices:
COLOR: you pick a color, and it measures its quantity on the feed
MOTION: track how many changes are in your feed. If you're still, you get low values. If you move, high values
TRACK: pick an object on your feed, and the device tracks its position on the screen, giving you x and y values.
Each device can use camera inputs (external, internal, even iPhone camera in MacOS systems), movie files or desktop feed. This function, for example, allows you to use the movement of a friend in a Zoom call to play your liveset.
