ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
1982's Tron imagined cyberspace before the term was even widely understood or known, and it's now considered a cult classic. While its visuals have dated, they were groundbreaking for the time and laid the groundwork for much of what was to follow. It might not look that impressive to newer viewers and the plot and direction could have been better but no one who spent hours hanging around in arcades in the 1980's didn't get a thrill from watching the film's representation of what it would be like inside a computer or wished they had a cool place like Flynn's in their town.
I've added Paul Oakenfold's classic DARK MACHINE piece to the soundtrack. This is from the movie Swordfish which coincidentally is about computers and hacking.
BTW I was just now doing a search only to see that Ein Eino did a video with this exact soundtrack to Tron Legacy - 4 years ago, and it's really pretty good - albeit only 720p. There I was thinking I was the only one that thought of Dark Machine going well with the visuals of Tron. Just shows nothing is original on youtube.
