How to Create Sliced Text in Adobe Illustrator, How To Slice Text In Adobe Illustrator.
Video transcript:
Select the Text tool
Select the Line Segment tool
Hold Shift to rotate 45°
Increse the Stroke value to 7 pt
Change the color to #0AC1A7
Right Click on the text and select Create Outlines
Select the Line, Edit → Copy
Select All
Pathfinder → Divide
Right Click → Ungroup
Remove the parts from H & B
Edit → Paste in Front or Ctrl+F
Again Edit → Paste in Front or Ctrl+F
Select both lines
Object → Expand...
Select the Direct Selection tool (A)
Hold Shift to resize the Line
Select both Lines
Change the color to Black
Resize the Lines
