i beat this originally like 2 weeks ago but obs corrupted the recording, so i decided to rebeat on recording yesterday :3
this doesn't become too difficult once you learn how to consistently slope boost. i took a ton of time because i didn't deactivate rain and thunder so i was lagging a lot on each attempt, giving me a ton of deaths near the end of each checkpoint. i'll give a brief description of what i learned throughout this level so its not as terrible to try to go through this blind.
== ME TRYING TO EXPLAIN SLOPE BOOSTING ==
when you are on a slope there are two main directions you can go, towards the high side and towards the low side. if you jump on a slope while holding towards the high side, you will enter a "no drift" state, where all momentum in the air diminishes by a lot. you always want to avoid entering this state to control the cube, else you will start sliding down almost uncontrollably (until you either touch a slope facing the opposite direction or touch flat ground)
in EVERY SINGLE SLOPE JUMP, you have to quickly hold towards the low side of the slope, and use air drifting to move towards the direction you want. if you fail this mechanic, you will be stuck in the "no drift" state i mentioned earlier, and next jumps will become impossible. this level requires quite a bit of mechanical skill to execute, but it quickly becomes consistent the more you practice it.
there are some advanced strategies where you can intentionally enter the no drift state, to later recover it by touching a slope oriented in the opposite direction (check the hold jump near the beggining of last cp). i suggest learning setups on your own for each section, and do whatever is most comfortable for you. for me it was more comfortable to "speedrun" through some cps, but i can see ppl finding patience and slope stalling more optimal and intuitive.
