After building the hilux up and taking it on an epic journey across Namibia and Botswana; I got to learn some of the limitations of the vehicle and the setup, I found things that could be changed and could be removed/tweaked to get a better balance of comfort and performance; while still remaining a practical overlander. Hopefully one that isn't overloaded. The handling and fuel economy of the vehicle is important to me and it is something I want to continue to strive to improve, so in this episode and episodes to come; I will be figuring out ways to reduce some weight across the setup.

Camping and Overlanding is fun, and getting new exciting equipment is exciting; but sometimes we can get carried away with the amount of stuff we bring with. Is there a balance, or does it just come down to the individual?
