DEV1044 Bootstrapping SLES for SAP HANA clusters with Terraform and Salt on Public Cloud
This developer session was delivered at SUSECON in April 2019, in Nashville, TN.
Abstract: In this session, I will discuss the work that we are doing to make the
creation of new clusters on public cloud easier for SLES for SAP
Applications. By leveraging Salt, we can provide formulas and states
that can be used both as example deployments, as a part of the
bootstrap process and by administrators to maintain the cluster once
deployed. We are also leveraging Terraform to provide descriptions of
example clusters for all of the major cloud providers, and to
demonstrate this we will deploy a cluster using Terraform.
