Why I am taking a look at Hitman: Absolution
Hitman: Absolution was my first exposure to Agent 47, and while this version of the franchise has been derided for leaving behind the sandbox environment in previous editions, this edition was the first to really introduce many of the elements which became part of the core functionality in future "World of Assassination" games and levels, like Instinct, advanced lighting, and higher polygon counts. If you've not played this game before, I encourage you to pick it up from Steam while it's available. Modern hardware won't have any problems playing this game at maximum framerates and shading.
