CAD-2-PATH Intuitive robot programming by simply drawing on a 3D model
With CAD-2-PATH it is quick and easy to program surface-true paths on complex object surfaces. The trajectories drawn are projected onto the surface from the CAD model and can then be executed by industrial and service robots of all kinds.
In combination with a force-torque sensor dynamic adaptation to the surface is also possible, so that even inaccuracies in the virtual 3D model do not pose any problems. This application is particularly suitable for adhensive and welding applications in industrial environments, such as the application of an adhesive bead on a car window, the application of a seal or the welding of complex components.
The intuitive user interface requires no specialist knowledge and can be operated without instruction. Since the user interface uses the latest web technology, no special hardware is required, a simple tablet is enough.
