Sims 1
In The Medicine Career is a base game career track in The Sims 1. The Doctor Career is pretty straight forward in The Sims. Sims will start the job as a Medical Technician. At 8am an old run down car will come to pick you up. Skills associated with the Medical Career are Mechanical, Logic, Body, Creativity and Charisma. As Sims progress in their career, the carpool vehicles become more expensive, before they finally reach the top of Medical Career and become a Chief of Staff.
Sims 2
The Medicine Career is one of the 10 basic careers in The Sims 2. Using the newspaper or the computer, Sims will start their career as a Medical Technician. At Level 1 of Medicine Career, an emergency vehicle will come to pick you up for work. The Sim's mood will greatly affect their job performance. As your Sim climbs the career ladder, the carpool vehicles will become more and more expensive. to get promoted, Sims will also need more and more Family Friends. After many hours of hard work, Sims will reach the top of Medicine Career and become a Chief of Staff and go to work in a limousine.
Sims 3
The Medicine career is a base game career track in The Sims 3, but with The Sims 3: Ambitions, it was definitely expanded. Their main workplace will be the hospital. The hospital is a rabbit hole in The Sims 3. while your Sim is at work, you can influence what your Sim will do while there. With Sims 3: Ambitions, now Medical Sims can host Vaccination clinics. You are given 4h to vaccinate as many Sims as possible. Medical Sims may also encounter local emergencies, like NPC's needing immediate help. After reaching Level 7 of Medicine Career and becoming a Gene Therapist, Medical Sims will have the ability to host Neighborhood Free Clinics. Finally, after many hours spent reading medical research, working overtime in the hospital and on the field Sims will reach Level 10 of Medicine Career, becoming a World Renowned Surgeon.
Sims 4
In The Sims 4, The Doctor Career is one of the three active career tracks introduced in The Sims 4: Get to Work. Your Sim will start as Medical Intern. At Levels 2 and 3, Medical Sims have more option for examining patients. They can swab for sample and analyze it, Medical Sims can also check patient's eyes, check their ears, take their temperature.. As Sims progress in their career, now they also need to diagnose the patients before treating them. When your Sim finally becomes a doctor, their main objective will be to perform surgeries. Medical Sims may also get a House Call. When Sims become a Medical Specialist, Pregnant Sims will come in the Hospital to Have their baby. As you progress through your Medical career, you'll get a lot of objects, clothes and bonuses before finally reaching Level 10 of Medical Career and becoming a Chief of Staff.
