KubeDB ProxySQL is now supporting custom configuration through YAML. You can now mention your desired configuration (admin variables, MySQL variables, MySQL users, MySQL query rules) in the YAML and ProxySQL will bootstrap with it. Also, a new feature “SyncUser” is introduced in this release. When enabled, KubeDB operator will auto sync the user's table in the ProxySQL server with the backend server.
With ProxySQL reconfigure ops requests you can add, update or delete users and query rules, and update global variables. Horizontal scaling of ProxySQL Cluster is also introduced to KubeDB ProxySQL.

In this webinar, we talked about all these features in detail and demonstrate how to use these features to deploy and configure ProxySQL in the easiest way.

Topics to discuss:
ProxySQL declarative configuration
Sync User
Horizontal scaling
Reconfigure ops-request

KubeDB simplifies Provision, Upgrade, Scaling, Volume Expansion, Monitor, Backup, and Restore for various Databases in Kubernetes on any Public & Private Cloud
