How to correctly apply the TRUETAPE® sensor patch to your CGM sensor using our detailed application video. You can currently purchase our TRUETAPE® sensor patches (also known as fixation patches, CGM patches, sensor holders, or sensor cover patches) in our online shop or on Amazon.
Our TRUETAPE® sensor patches are made of cotton and are waterproof, very skin-friendly, breathable, and can be worn for up to 14 days.
Follow these tips to ensure your TRUETAPE® sensor patch lasts as long as possible:
Before applying the patch, please remove any dirt, moisture, oils, or lotions from your skin.
If you have a lot of hair in the area where you will be applying the patch, trimming the hair slightly may improve its durability.
We recommend applying the sensor patch at least 1-2 hours before starting any physical activity or showering, as the adhesive needs some time to reach its full strength.
When applying the patch, always be careful not to touch the adhesive surface, as this can impair adhesion.
