Sonic Adventure 2 HD (PS3): Sonic Wins By Doing Absolutely Nothing

So this is what's really going on, when you tap the attack button (square or circle for PS3) once so quickly that Sonic doesn't do a somersault, he carries the attack properties of if he were charging a spindash. This means that walking into enemies will damage them, Shadow being no exception. Since you don't have to move in order to do this, it appears that Sonic defeats Shadow by doing absolutely nothing.
