Former Vikings RB Chuck Foreman talks with Mike Damergis
Chuck Foreman was one of the premiere running back in the mid-'70s. Foreman led Minnesota to 3 Super Bowls in 4 years, rushing for over 1, 000 from 1975-1977. Despite having tremendous teams, the Vikings fell short to the Chiefs, Steelers and Raiders in the Superbowl.
Foreman addresses those disappointments and feels the team could have been in a better position to win.
The legendary Viking back feels that the older generation of players should be financially recognized for their sacrifices on the field.
Foreman calls the '70s the "Golden Era of Football."
Foreman feels the Vikings coaching staff made a mistake in the Super Bowls loses by changing their offense.
"I think with our team for some reason some odd reason when we got to the Super Bowl they [coaching staff] changed up our offense and go away from the things that we did to get us there and you know I was very uncomfortable for the most part. I'm not saying that other team didn't play well but you know I think we would have stayed with what we did to get there."
