Video game difficulties have gotten more trendy to talk about as Dark Souls 3 and Elden Ring have their own controversies regarding their difficulty.

I stepped up to the plate with one question in mind: "What are the benefits of certain difficulty types and can I make my own difficulty type that incorporates the benefits of all the others?".

In this video, I go over the history of arcade games such as Mortal Kombat and Tetris to understand how we have pivoted from arcade games to the games we have today, while still keeping it within the theme of difficulty by bringing up Dragon's Lair and it's aim for profit. I also mention Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Bethesda titles such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Fallout: New Vegas and Fallout 4, FromSoftware's Dark Souls 3, Treyarch's Black Ops 3 Zombies, Naughty Dog's The Last of Us Part 2, Microsoft's Forza series, and more!

I tried my hardest to incorporate sound effects into the video too, utilizing Modern Warfare 2's Intervention Sniper sound into the video and other old and new memes! I even use a Minecraft sound effect: a Slime plopping for when I use Borderlands 2 as an example in my video.

Hopefully you peoples enjoy this video, this was something in the works for a year as my first ever deep dive into Premiere Pro!
