2016. Serbia. Mid-August, that same warm air that makes everything in Novi Sad seem a little slow in the morning. Life goes on as usual in the small houses here: some are leaving for work in Belgrade, others are discussing with neighbors how people live in Serbia and how life in Novi Sad differs from that in the capital. The owner of the small house where he rented out several apartments and an annex has been knocking on the threshold of this very annex since early morning – the tenants don't open the door. The previous evening had been a little noisier than usual. Summer, open windows, a hot Serbian night – conversations, music, footsteps, someone moving a chair… you name it. In the Balkans, such a cacophony of sounds is generally common. The young Sabo family lived in the annex. That morning, the girl's mother couldn't reach her either and called the owner, asking him to check if everything was okay with the children. After several unsuccessful attempts to knock, the owner took out his key, opened the door, and was met with a truly terrifying sight.

This is an educational YouTube podcast project by Lina Mockumentary! Is your last name really Mockumentary? No, that's not true – "mockumentary" translates as a pseudo-documentary. Why the name? It's simple – I film "couch potatoes" so it's like I'm at home with a friend, gossiping about life situations over tea. Of course, I can't call it a full-fledged documentary, hence the "pseudo." My podcasts are varied – about celebrities and ordinary people, or about events that have received significant media attention, but there are also some that are less well-known.
