American Zoetrope logo / Zoetrope Studios variant (1992 / 1982)
Third logo and variant to the second logo of Francis Ford Coppola and George Luca's film production company, Zoetrope Studios (now American Zoetrope). Zoetrope was founded in 1969 and is based (since 1972) in San Francisco, California. American Zoetrope-produced films have received 15 Academy Awards and 68 nominations. The company is now owned by Coppola's son and daughter, Roman Coppola and Sofia Coppola.
The building that illustraded in the logo is the Sentinel Building located in San Francisco, where the headquarters of Zoetrope are.
